How to export a spreedsheet of product data

How does exporting products work?

Exporting products creates a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and populates it with product data before downloading it to your computer.

You can control which products will be exported by setting filters such as:

  • Category

  • Tag

  • Badge

  • Size Guide

  • Supplier

  • Type

  • Recurring order frequency

  • Website status

  • Filter

  • POS channel

  • Website channel

  • Google product category

You can then control what data will be included for each exported product by selecting fields such as:

  • Product ID

  • Sub product ID

  • Title

  • Name

  • Website status

  • POS channel

  • Website channel

  • SKU

  • Barcode

  • Variations

  • Summary

  • Description

  • Intangible

  • Weight

  • Width

  • Height

  • Depth

  • HS Code

  • Country of origin title

  • Customs description

  • Weighting

  • Track stock

  • Stock on hand

  • Low available stock level

  • Notify if low available stock

  • Notify if no available stock

  • Allow order if no available stock

  • Hide if no available stock

  • Supplier

  • Supplier code

  • Google product category ID

  • Tax type

  • Xero inventory item code*

  • Xero sales account code*

  • Xero tracking category name*

  • Xero tracking category option name*

  • Prices**

  • Missing price text

  • Publish date

  • Expiry date

  • Keywords

  • Category names

  • Tag names

How do I export products?

  1. Go to Commerce > Products > Products.

  2. Click on the Export button in the top right.

  3. Optionally, select a Category.

  4. Optionally, select a Tag.

  5. Optionally, select a Badge.

  6. Optionally select a Size guide.

  7. Optionally, select a Supplier.

  8. Optionally, select a Type.

  9. Optionally, select a Recurring order frequency.

  10. Optionally, select a Website status.

  11. Optionally, select a Filter.

  12. Optionally, select a POS channel.

  13. Optionally, select a Website channel.

  14. Optionally, select a Google product category.

  15. Optionally, tick/untick the Fields you would like to include.

  16. Click the Export button.
