What are barcode label templates?
Barcode label templates provide you with a way to define the content and the layout of barcode labels.
These templates can then be used when downloading (and printing) the barcode labels for multiple different products to give them the same layout and content.
How do I add a barcode label template?
When adding a barcode label template, use the Label preview to see an example of how the barcode labels printed with the template will look.
Go to Commerce > Products.
Select Barcode label templates from the menu on the left.
Click Add in the top right.
Enter a Name for the template.
Choose a Type from the dropdown, this will define the labels dimensions (i.e. height, width, margins, etc).
Click and drag the fields between the Line 1, Line 2, Line 3 and Line 4 columns to change the layout of the label. If there are multiple fields within a column, they can be moved up or down to change their order. If there are multiple fields within a line, the fields will be separated with by a forward slash (i.e. SKU / product title).
Optionally, enter Custom text.
Select Yes from Show barcode to display a barcode or No to not display a barcode.
Click Add, this will return you to Commerce > Products > Barcode label templates where a success message will be displayed.
Note that any fields that are in the Unused column will not be displayed, nor will the Custom text field if no Custom text has been entered.
How do I edit a barcode label template?
When editing a barcode label template, use the Label preview to see an example of how the barcode labels printed with the template will look.
Go to Commerce > Products.
Select Barcode label templates from the menu on the left.
Click the Edit button under OPTIONS for the barcode label template in the table that you wish to edit.
Change the details of the Barcode label template.
Click Update to save, this will return you to Commerce > Products > Barcode label templates where a success message will be displayed.
How do I delete a barcode label template?
Go to Commerce > Products.
Select Barcode label templates from the menu on the left.
Click the Delete button under OPTIONS for the barcode label template in the table that you wish to delete, this will open a confirmation page.
Click Delete to delete this will return you to Commerce > Products > Barcode label templates where a success message will be displayed.
What label types does Airsquare support?
The supported types are:
Dymo 11355 / S0722550 - 19 x 51 mm
Dymo 11352 / S0722520 - 25 x 54 mm
Dymo 30252 / S0722370 - 28 x 89 mm
Zebra 1001039 - 25 x 51 mm

What are the different fields?
There are multiple fields that are used when adding or editing a barcode label template.
The supported fields are:
Price
SKU
Product title
Variation attributes
Barcode number
Custom text
When a barcode label is downloaded / printed for a product using the barcode label template, the fields are replaced by the actual details (e.g. the Price field will be replaced with a products price, the SKU field will be replaced with the products SKU, etc).
The only field that will be static in the barcode labels is the Custom text field, this allows you to add the same text to all of the barcode labels printed using the barcode label template (e.g. Clearance, Sale, Reduced, Discounted, etc).
