What is an event session?
A session is an occurrence of an event. You can create multiple sessions for a single event, for example if the event is a concert which will be repeated for several dates and/or at different venues.
How do I add a session to an event?
You can add sessions to an event when you create an event:
- Go to Commerce > Events. 
- Click on Events in the left hand menu. 
- Click Add in the top right. 
- On the first screen, select Yes for Does this event have multiple sessions? 
- You can then specify if the sessions have different venues and different times. 
- Complete the event details. 
- Then find the event in the table, and click to edit it. 
- You'll see the heading Sessions at the top of the page. 
- Click +Add on the right. 
- Fill in the session details. 
- Click Add to save. 
- Add as many sessions as you need to. 
You can also add sessions to events retrospectively:
- Go to Commerce > Events. 
- Click on Events in the left hand menu. 
- Find the event that you are looking for and click on it. 
- Click on the Edit Type button in the top right. 
- Select Yes for Does this event have multiple sessions? 
- You can then select if the sessions have different venues and different times. 
- Select Update at the bottom. 
- You'll see the heading Sessions at the top of the page. 
- Click the Add button on the right. 
- Fill in the session details. 
- Click Add to save. 
- Add as many sessions as you need to.

How do I search for an event session?
- Go to Commerce > Events. 
- Click on Events in the left hand menu. 
- Find the event that you are looking for and click on it. 
- Click the Sessions tab under the event heading. 
- You'll see the sessions for that event listed under the heading Sessions. 
How do I edit a session?
- Go to Commerce > Events. 
- Click on Events in the left hand menu. 
- Find the event that you are looking for and click on it. 
- Click the Sessions tab under the event heading. 
- You'll see the sessions for that event listed under the heading Sessions. 
- You can edit the sessions by clicking on them. 
- Click Update at the bottom of the page to save. 
How do I delete a session?
- Go to Commerce > Events. 
- Click on Events in the left hand menu. 
- Find the event that you are looking for and click on it. 
- Click the Sessions tab under the event heading. 
- You'll see the sessions for that event listed under the heading Sessions. 
- Find the session that you want to delete. 
- Select Delete in the right hand Options column. 
- Click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the session.
