What are packages?

Packages are pre-defined boxes, bags and envelopes which you commonly use to ship your orders. By pre-loading these packages, you save time fulfilling orders as you don't need to manually enter the package dimensions each time.

Packages can also reference specific courier rates that are provided by connected couriers. For example, if you have a package with the code A4 and a connected courier who offers a rate on an A4 sized package, then the relevant rate will be offered for that package.

How do I add a package?

In the admin area

  1. Go to Commerce > Settings > Packages.

  2. Click Add (top right).

  3. Enter a Name.

  4. Optionally, enter a Code.

  5. Under Dimensions, enter the width, height and depth.

  6. Optionally, enter a Max weight.

  7. Click Add.

How do I import packages?
