What is the palette?
The palette is a collection of colours that can be used anywhere within the admin area where colours are selected. This allows you to add and organise a range of colours that you can then apply in multiple places directly from a colour selector.
This is very useful if you have brand colours or a specific colour range that you want to apply quickly and consistently throughout your site.

Open a colour selector.
If transparency is supported, a slider will be displayed beneath the colour picker.
Drag the slider to the left to increase transparency or to the right to increase opacity.
