What are product tags?
A tag is like a label or a keyword that describes the product that it is added to. When a customer clicks on a product tag, any products that you have added the tag to will be displayed.
A product can have more than one tag. Tags are nonhierarchical but can be grouped together using tag groups.
How are tags different from categories?
Tags have a flat structure and are meant for labelling products across categories while categories have nested sub-categories.
For example, you could organise a product under a parent category of 'Shoes' with sub-categories of 'Casual', 'Dress' and 'Sport' but any of the products in any of the categories could have a tag added like 'New season' or 'Clearence'.
How do I add a tag?
Go to Commerce > Products > Tags.
Click the Add button in the top right.
Enter a Title.
Optionally, enter a Description (including text, photos & video).
Optionally, enter a Page title (SEO).
Optionally, enter a Page description (SEO).
Optionally, select a Group.
Select a Website status.
Click the Add button.
How do I edit a tag?
Go to Commerce > Products > Tags.
Find the tag you are looking for and click the Edit button in the Options column.
Update the tag's details.
Click the Update button.
How do I move a tag?
Go to Commerce > Products > Tags.
Find the tag you are looking for and and click and hold the move icon then drag the tag up or down the tag list.
How do I delete a tag?
Go to Commerce > Products > Tags.
Find the tag you are looking for and click the Delete button in the Options column.
Click the Delete button.
How do I add tags to a product?
To add a tag to a product, you must have first added at least one tag.
Go to Commerce > Products > Products.
Find the product you want to add tags to and click on it.
Click the Edit button in the top right.
Tick the Tags you want to add.
Click the Update button.
How do I remove tags from a product?
Go to Commerce > Products > Products.
Find the product you want to remove tags from and click on it.
Click the Edit button in the top right.
Un-tick the Tags you want to remove.
Click the Update button.
How do I add a tag to multiple products?
Go to Commerce > Products > Products.
Tick the checkboxes next to the products you want to add a tag to.
Click the drop-down menu below the product list.
Select a tag under the Add tag heading.
Click the Go button.
How do I remove a tag from multiple products?

Select a tag under the Remove tag heading.
