How to add, edit and delete a person comment

What is a person comment?

A person comment is a way of recording additional information that is linked to a person. You can add multiple comments which can be very useful if you need to record ongoing information about a person such as repeating orders or payments.

Person comments are for internal use only and are never visible to a person.

What is the difference between a comment and an internal note?

A person can have multiple comments but can only have one internal note. This makes comments better suited for recording repeating information over a period of time while an internal note is better suited for recording non-repeating information.

How do I add a comment to a person?

  1. Go to Contacts > People.                                    

  2. Find the person you are looking for and click the View button in the Options column.

  3. Click the Comments tab under the person name/number.

  4. Click the Add button in the top right.

  5. Enter a Comment.

  6. Click the Add button.

How do I edit a comment?

  1. Go to Contacts > People.

  2. Find the person you are looking for and click the View button in the Options column.

  3. Click the Comments tab under the person name/number.

  4. Find the comment you are looking for and click the Edit button in the Options column.

  5. Edit the Comment.

  6. Click the Update button.

How do I delete a comment?

  1. Go to Contacts > People.

  2. Find the person you are looking for and click the View button in the Options column.

  3. Click the Comments tab under the person name/number.

  4. Find the comment you are looking for and click the Delete button in the Options column.

  5. Click the Delete button.
