A donation campaign is required in order to accept donations on your site. When a customer makes a donation, they are donating to a nominated campaign. You can then track how many donations have been made to a specific campaign.
You can setup as many campaigns as you wish.

Yes, you can specify the tax type for each donation campaign you setup.
Can I choose a Xero inventory item code for a donation campaign?
Yes, if you have Xero connected, you can choose the inventory item code used in Xero for recording the donation.
How do I accept donations on my site?
Once you've setup a donation campaign, you can then use a donation form widget to accept donations.
How do I add a donation campaign?
Go to Commerce > Donation campaigns.
Click Add.
Enter a Title, this is used as the item title in the cart when someone makes a donation.
If Xero is connected, optionally select a Xero inventory item code for the donation campaign.
Choose the Tax type.
Click Add.
Once you've added a donation campaign, you can then accept donations on your website by adding a donation form widget.
How do I edit a donation campaign?
Go to Commerce > Donation campaigns.
Next to the donation campaign, click Edit.
Change the details of the donation campaign.
Click Update.
How do I delete a donation campaign?
Go to Commerce > Donation campaigns.
Next to the donation campaign, click Delete.
Click Delete.
