How do I reset a download limit for a downloadable product?

By default, for any downloadable product sold, we only allow a maximum of 5 download attempts. This is to stop the link to the download being shared and abused. Sometimes a customer may legitimately struggle to download the file, using up all their available attempts. 

To reset the download limit:

  1. Go to Commerce > Orders.
  2. Find the order in the list and click View.
  3. Under items, find the downloadable product, then click Reset.
  4. You can then tell the customer to try again.
