How do I turn on/off stock control for a product?

You can choose to turn on stock control for any product. If enabled, we then track stock/inventory for the product. If something is sold, we deduct the stock accordingly. 

  1. Go Website > Products > select Products from the menu on the left.
  2. Click on the product and click Edit detail on the right.
  3. Scroll down to Stock Control and tick or untick Use stock control.
  4. Click Update at the bottom of the page.

How do I hide a product if there's no stock?

  1. Go Website > Products > select Products from the menu on the left.
  2. Click on the product and click Edit detail on the right.
  3. Scroll down to Stock Control and tick Use stock control.
  4. Then tick Hide if there's no stock.
  5. Click Update at the bottom of the page.

How do I let customers place an order (e.g pre-order) when there's no stock?

  1. Go Website > Products > select Products from the menu on the left.
  2. Click on the product and click Edit detail on the right.
  3. Scroll down to Stock Control and tick Use stock control.
  4. The tick Customer can place an order even if there's no stock.
  5. Click Update at the bottom of the page.

How can I get notified when stock is getting low?

  1. Ensure you've added a Stock notification email address under Website > Products > Settings.
  2. Go Website > Products > select Products from the menu on the left.
  3. Click on the product and click Edit detail on the right.
  4. Scroll down to Stock Control and tick Use stock control.
  5. Then tick Send notification email when stock is getting low.
  6. Enter a Low stock threshold.
  7. Click Update at the bottom of the page.

How can I get notified when there's no stock left?

  1. Firstly, Enable stock control for the product, as outlined above.
  2. Go Website > Products > select Products from the menu on the left.
  3. Click on the product and click Edit detail on the right.
  4. If the product has no sub-products, Click +Stock or -Stock as appropriate (top right).
  5. Enter the amount to add or remove.
  6. Click Add/Remove stock.
  7. If the product has sub-products, click on the sub-products
  8. Click +Stock or -Stock as appropriate (top right).
  9. Enter the amount to add or remove.
  10. Click Add/Remove stock.
