What is a product panel?
An product panel is a way of displaying products with titles, summaries, images and prices in an email campaign. When a customer clicks a product title or image, they will be redirected to the relevant product page on your website. Product panels have a range of settings that can be used to customise the arrangement of the products.
Once a product panel has been added, it can then be displayed in an email campaign, event email campaign or an event session email campaign.
How do I add a product panel?
For a product panel that displays the products in individual rows:
Go to Emails > Widgets.
Click the Add button in the top right.
Click on Product panel icon.
Enter a Title.
Optionally, select a Category.
Optionally, select a Tag.
Enter a Number of products.
Select one of the List options from Layout.
Enter a Row gap.
Tick/untick Show summary.
Tick/untick Show price.
Select a Horizontal alignment.
Select a Vertical alignment.
Enter a Content gap.
Select a Listing image aspect ratio.
Click the Add button.
For a product panel that displays a number of products per row:
Go to Emails > Widgets.
Click the Add button in the top right.
Click on Product panel icon.
Enter a Title.
Optionally, select a Category.
Optionally, select a Tag.
Enter a Number of products.
Select one of the Grid options from Layout.
Enter a Row gap.
Enter a Column gap.
Tick/untick Show summary.
Tick/untick Show price.
Select a Horizontal alignment.
Select a Vertical alignment.
Enter a Content gap.
Select a Listing image aspect ratio.
Click the Add button.
You can now add this widget to an email campaign. The product panel will only be displayed if it contains products, so make sure you have published products that meet the product panel criteria, such as the selected Category and/or Tag.
How do I edit a product panel?
Go to Emails > Widgets.
Find the relevant product panel in the list and click the Edit button in the Options column.
Edit the product panel's details.
Click the Update button.
How do I delete a product panel?
Go to Emails > Widgets.
Find the relevant product panel in the list and click the Delete button in the Options column.
Click the Delete button to confirm.
How do the settings affect the appearance of a product panel?
Row gap - Changes how much space there is between the rows of products.
Column gap* - Changes how much space there is between the columns of products in each row
Horizontal alignment -Sets whether the product image, title, summary and price are left or centre aligned.
Vertical alignment - Sets whether the product image, title, summary and price are top, centre or bottom aligned.
Content gap - Changes how much space there is between the product image, title, summary and price.
