When you're processing many orders, or have a customer in front of you, you want printing to be fast.
Unfortunately, by default, printing in the browser is slow. You have to first download the document, open it, click print, check the printer settings, then click print again.
That's where our Desktop Print Client comes in:
You install it on each machine you use Airsquare POS or Airsquare Admin (works on Windows or Mac).
You setup your printers once for all the different document types (it allows multiple printers to print different documents).
Then you just leave it running in the background (it automatically starts when you turn your computer on).
We then magically talk to this app when you print a document in Airsquare POS or Airsquare Admin. No extra clicks, it just prints.
Where do I download it from?
I've installed it, how do I set it up?
In the Desktop Print Client, you need to add each printer you want to use with Airsquare (e.g. your A4 printer, your thermal printer, your label printer).
Each printer can support different document sizes and document types.
Once done, you're ready to start printing.
How do I print using the Desktop Print Client?
In the admin area:
Use the 'Print' links and it'll go through the Desktop Print Client.
In the POS:
First you must tell the POS to use it, go to Menu > Settings, under Printers, enable the 'Desktop Print Client'
Now any print option on the POS will use the it, just print as normal.
